Lebron Expecting Kid

Congrats to Lebron James. Lebron is expecting his second child, a son, in mid June. The Cavaliers superman said on Tuesday that he and longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson are expecting their second son. Second Son?!?! Yep, King James already has a mini-me in the family. Lebron’s’ first son is named LeBron James Jr.! He was born in October 2004 and is usually sitting in the front row at Cavs games.

“There’s more responsibility,” James said. “There’s the carrying on of the name. It’s not letting my son down, or my other son. Just being respectful of my family, that is what is important to me.”

So what is son #2 going to be called? Can you say, “Lebron James II”??? We’ll have to wait and find out.

Win Lebron Nike Zoom and Zune

zune.jpgLebron and MSN are running a contest where they give away pairs of Lebron Nike Zoom shoes and a Zune MP3 Player. Seems as though you can enter once a day with your email address. They do collect other information so I’m sure thats the ‘catch’. But if you feel lucky - check it out MSN/Lebron Zoom and Zune Contest.

Cavs v. Heat battle

Today, the Cleveland Cavaliers will battle the Miami Heat. Today’s game will start at 2:30pm CDT. The Cavs are coming off a 84-78 loss at home at the hands of the Chicago Bulls, while the Heat will play without start Dwayne Wade, and come in with a record of 26-28. The Heat have lost two in a row, including a 112-102 loss at Houston and a 112-100 loss at Dallas.

Miami will be glad to finally be back home after the Texas Trip. The Heat will be missing the 28.8 points per game that Dwayne Wade gives them, and also the 7.9 assists. Without Wade, the Heat will rely more on the big 7′1 Center Shaquille O’Neal, who has missed several games this season due to injuries.

Our guy LeBron looks to have a big game, now that his friendly rival, D.Wade is out, look for LeBron to put up big numbers and the Cavs to win on the road!

Nike Zoom Lebron Low ST

Another new Lebron James shoe line will be released this summer. Nike is coming out with the ‘Low ST’ line of Lebron James shoes. There are pictures below via Always Authentic.

I kind of like the Nike Zoom Lebron Low ST. They are simple enough yet bring out the Lebron name. The lime green is kinda cool too. We’ll keep you updated when the Zoom Lebron Low ST hits the market so you can go get a pair. Price is still unknown.

Despite James big game, East falls

Our guy, LeBron James led his team, the NBA Eastern Conference, with 28 points on 11-20 shooting, including 4-8 from 3pt range, and 2-2 from the free throw line, but it was not enough as the NBA Western Conference blew out the Eastern 153-132 on Sunday night in Vegas. James’ 28 was the highest on the East, but third highest in the game as Amare Stoudemire scored 29, and his teammate Kobe Bryant had 31 and took him All Star Game MVP.

We here at www.clublebron.com want to say “GREAT JOB” to LeBron and BEST OF LUCK to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their hunt for the top spot in the NBA East!

Lebron and MSN Interactive Website

Well - we warned you something big was coming from Lebron and MSN.  Monday MSN (Microsoft) and Lebron announced the launch of their new site http://lebron.msn.com which is an interactive storybook type site about Lebrons life.  This site is totally geared towards kids and teens.  “I’ve always wanted to have a place where kids can see all aspects of my personality — where I can really talk with them about where I came from, what I , what I have achieved in my life and what my goals are,” James quoted.

The Lebron/MSN website starts off with a movie of his childhood.  From there it’s a very interactive site and features a Lebron blog as well.  Going to be a great resourse for us here at ClubLebron.com!  Lebron wants to motivate kids to make a difference in the world and bring a positive message to the youngsters.

James is no stranger to Microsoft or to the endorsement world.  He has done several spots for Microsoft Vista, he loves playing Xbox, has done deals with Nike, Sprite and others.

“It’s his voice,” said Joanne Bradford, a Microsoft vice resident and media officer for MSN. “We are doing it exactly the way he wants it. It’s not about selling anything.”  James is really diving into a new world with this project.  No big time athlete has taken on a web project of this magnitude.  Lebron James is the man for trying new things!

Congrats to Lebron from ClubLebron.com - we wish you the best of luck with your new partnership with Microsoft MSN.  I know we will visit it on a daily basis and help promote the site for you!

Again, the Lebron/MSN website is http://lebron.msn.com

LeBron falls short, twice

Our guy, LeBron James fell short in the skills competition on Saturday night. In the skills competition, LeBron’s time of 35.4, finished him third, only ahead of Chris Paul, not allowing him to move on to the 2nd round, in which pitted Dwayne Wade and Kobe Bryant. Sorry LeBron, you were not able to win a meaningless all star event, but our guess here at www.clublebron.com is that you will be DOMINATE in the All Star Game tonight, as the East wins!

Lebron and MSN Up to Something

MSN has something planned for Lebron James. Word from some MSN officials is that chief media officer for MSN, Joanne Bradford and Lebron will be having a press conference on Monday. The press conference will be held in Las Vegas. Rumor has it they will be announcing a new ‘Lebron James challenge on MSN’ at this press conference. James and Microsoft are no stranger to each other as Lebron has been helping out with promotion of Microsoft Vista.

Check back here at ClubLebron.com on Monday for a detailed review of the press conference.

Lebron Dominates Kobe

Lebron James came ready to play Thursday night in the final game before the 2007 All-Star game. Lebron poured in a game high 38 points and led the Cavs to a 114-108 win over the struggling Lakers. Kobe Bryant scored 34 points making it the first time in 7 games that Lebron scored more than Kobe. Lebron made 18 of 22 free throws and shot 10-of-16 from the floor “I just wanted to be aggressive. I came out with energy and my team fed off that.” Lebron stated. “LeBron attacked tonight,” Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said. “When he attacks like this, he’s very hard to guard. He didn’t waste any dribbles, he didn’t waste any movement. Everything he did was with a purpose.” Lebron now will get himself prepared for the fun and exciting All-Star Weekend.
